The Financial Education Course is just for SLFCU members age 13-17 enrolled in the CU Succeed Program. Each course consists of four classes focusing on key financial topics.

* Open a new SLFCU savings account for a youth age 17 or under April 1-30, 2010, and SLFCU will deposit $5 to the account at the time of opening. The new youth account must be enrolled in the free SLFCU Young Savers Program in order to receive the $5 deposit.. All usual terms for opening an SLFCU savings account apply.
** No purchase necessary. One entry per youth age 17 or under April 1-30, 2010. While youth are encouraged to make a deposit at the credit union, making a deposit will not improve chances of winning. SLFCU Young Savers Membership not required for entry. Those parents/guardians giving permission for their youth to enter can submit on a 3" x 5" piece of paper the following information to SLFCU at PO BOX 23040 Albuquerque, NM 87192: Name, parent/guardian name, current age, address, telephone number, and date. Immediate family members of credit union employees and officials are not eligible to win. By participating in the contest, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules. This offer is void where prohibited and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and /or taxes. Winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of entries received. All prizes will be awarded. By May 15, 2010, SLFCU will randomly select and award 5 (five) $50 savings bond prizes. One (1) $100 prize may be awarded depending on results from a nationwide drawing by CUNA. By participating in any of the mentioned contests, all winning entrants give SLFCU permission to use their image in any promotional materials.
