Current address and phone numbers are important for account security. To prevent fraud, we will not update your mailing address based on a US Postal Service change of address form. We must be able to verify the identity of any member making this change.
The next time you call us for a transaction, visit a branch, or log on to CU@home®, please take a moment to verify that your mailing address, phone numbers (including cell phone) and email address on your account records – and on the records of any custodial accounts that you manage – are correct. Please remind other SLFCU members in your household to update their account information as well.
The security of your accounts and personal information is our first priority, and the Credit Union frequently contacts members to verify that transactions, such as share drafts presented for cash and unusual credit card activity, are legitimate. Your SLFCU credit card is protected by Falcon®, a service that recognizes card activity outside of your normal pattern of use and then calls you to verify. Giving us your cell phone number can be the best way to avoid the inconvenience of a denied transaction while you’re traveling.
You can verify and update your mailing address, phone numbers and email in CU@home at Self Service > Personal Information. You may enter your cell phone number as your home phone for the most immediate response in an emergency. We respect your privacy and will only use this information to contact you when the security of your accounts is at issue.
